Hello, Indians and welcome back to the Blog.
I hope you must be wondering why we were offline for so much time.
Well, let me tell you, that we were doing some research. So that, we could give you some excellent results and help you get more healthy.

So, let us continue -
Well, heard some news about that odd-even formula in Delhi. They say that they will be starting it again, i.e., odd-even formula phase 2. Guess what will be the time. It will be some what after 15th April. So what was special about this date. Well, let me tell you. It is actually the exam season.
So, what is special about exam season. Well, actually it is all about the stress that follows an exam and they did not want to double it.

In exams, students do a lot of work. And this does effect their work as well as health. In this blog, we will try to help these students do something about their health in these exams.

So Let us begin...

1) Diet Be Right!!

During exams, students do work a lot. So they, while working, compromise in their food. This is not good. Hard work is good, I am not saying that one should completely stop it. But, what is more important is Smart Work...
One should not at any cost, do harm to their health. Only allowed, when conditions are extreme like say, poverty and failure of provision of basic facilities.
During exams, food has three main objectives -
A food that keeps brain light, high fluid to help transmit messages from and to the brain and adequate sleep to absorb nutrition and overcome fatigue.
My recommendations are -
  • Concentrate on light nutritive foods and snacks.

  • No heavy materials that make child lethargic.
  • Breakfast choices - Eggs, Upma, Oats or Khichdi are good choices. You may also select chocolates. Yes, you read it right, chocolates. Chocolates keep your brain sharp and alert during exam time, especially dark chocolates like dairy milk, cadbury, kitkat, munch, etc.

  • Breakfast negotiations - Milk. You heard it right this time also. Milk or its products make your child sleepy during exams, which may not be beneficial. And, also avoid oily products. They are no better. They also make you sleepy.
  • Lunch and Dinner choices - It should be ligh, containing dal, sabzi, roti and raw salad.
  • There should be two mini meals or snacks - one containing handful of nuts and the other being of fruits. So an assorted fruit chat is a good option.

  • Munch it right - Fruits contain anti-oxidants that help the brain stay alert.
  • If you are Non veg, chicken for lunch is a good option.
  • A lot of kids study late in night. So, an early dinner is recommended as early as 8 pm. and then after every two hours, the child can munch on some nuts or a slice of cheese along with green tea with honey or regular tea.
  • Coffee is rejected. It causes hyperactivity, acidity and acne which distracts students from studying.

  • And yes don't just see these let them go. Do something now. Just get up from your Macintosh, and start studying and do not forget to promise yourself that you will take care of your health and do take good care with good marks during your exams.
Hope you find this useful!!!.
